We used carpet padding to wrap around the wings.

I plan on hauling my coupe for it's annual and some engine work. I have about 50 miles to go. The paint and fabric is only 5 years old. What is the best way to haul the wings without damaging the paint?

Good luck Bill glad you were able to get it home. I hope you have as much enjoyment with the coupe as I have.

Jack, Thank you for the info and the offer to coach me through the task. My cell is 931-237-1046, however, last evening I decided to go ahead and fly it home since I have a friend that is going to provide me with some seat time in his coupe 415-C LSA. The coupe I am getting is only 300 miles away in Ohio. Originally, I thought it would be some time before I could confidently pilot the little craft. Thank you,
Bill
