I added a spacer to the original location to install a smaller compass. Not like the original, but closer than     putting one on the vertical riser

I may have gotten (very) lucky and found one, a '43 Bendix 1821-2-A on Ebay that may be in serviceable condition. I've pinged the seller to check. Can't wait to ditch the modern card compass on the vertical riser frame on the windscreen... hate that thing. Then again I might be a smidge bit of a snob on these things... Now if I can just find a running '46 Ford pickup to go with Tweety...

Original 415-C Panel Layout Diagram up to Serial No. 4423 taken from the PDF Parts Manual in case anyone might have need. I've added the legend to the image and rotated 90 to be horizontal. Make it easier to read.
