How much to disclose at Annual?

Getting ready for my first annual. Been reading horror stories online about Annuals Gone Wild. 

Mechanic says he wants the airplane and logs, nothing else.  Should I prepare a list of my concerns as well?  Or should I keep my mouth shut and if he doesn't find a problem, then I don't have to pay to fix it?
