We had an issue, one test we did was blow a low power fan up the exhaust pipe and spray the engine with soapy water, any exhaust leaks will start to bubble.

Make sure the openings in the firewall are sealed, and check the condition of the boot on the steering push rod. How are the condition of the clamps ? are they tight ?

I have a problem with CO, new left stack. Rebuilt muffler. Added an extension to the exhaust. Replace cabin heat hoses. No change.

Windows down CO detector goes to zero. Windows up it starts climbing above the danger level.

During annual the IA noticed the cabin heat was blocked to the cabin with a plate. He removed that but I bet someone added that due to the exhaust smell.

I also noticed on a 415-CD a fresh air control and opening on the cowl I don’t have.

Has anyone had CO issues?
