When putting in the Bracket have a belt sander handy. Seems the frames are tight. of the 3 that I have installed I had to sand off some of the outside dia to fit. There three screws to hold the filter in place. May have to fight a little to get them together.

Did you have to remove the nose cowling to put the BRACKETT air filter?

I solved the problem by installing the Bracket air filter assembly, BA8810. Since you mention a foam filter, you may already have that, so need the Bracket air filter element, BA8805. I see that Univair sells both, as well as the older paper/metal encased filter which are hard to get in/out.
