It’s pretty straightforward. You just lace into the boot hooks on the frame. Many planes have had that frame messed up by goofballs that tried every weird solution except the right one for fixing the back. I even had to scrape glue - glue! - off the seat frame. What were they thinking?

I am by far not an expert however I do know they are laced in. I think Warren or Larry are good sources here. Meantime here's a website I stumbled on when I began researching mine. Page 3 shows the old seat covers in stages of removal. www.ercoupe.info/pmwiki.php/Main/InteriorInstallation I hope this can get you started in the right direction.
Cheers!

I have purchased the Airtex interior for my 415-C. Any suggestions about installing the seat back?
My thanks in advance.
