The 2026 Great Ercoupe Relay
- 2026 Ercoupe Relay Interest - Get On Board!
×
In 2026, the EAA is spotlighting the "Class of 1946" postwar boom aircraft. Since so many of our Ercoupes were manufactured in 1946 this is a natural fit for the club.

Our 'coupe splits its time between 5B9 on the NH/VT border and KFIT in central MA.
Happy to fly ~150 miles from either, which covers MA, VT, NH, NY, CT, and ME.
Negative Transponder, so no class C or Mode C veil airports.
Haven't yet looked at the event offerings for the coming year.

Welcome Erick!
Michael and Erick have plugged a couple of gaps in the map.
Everyone is welcome to participate, but I'm particularly interested in finding pilots in these areas (If y'all know anyone...)
Montana - Dakotas
Florida- Georgia - Alabama - Mississippi
New Mexico - Utah

Hey everyone I’m a new member but not a new coupe owner. I would like to join in. I’m in northern Colorado KFNL if needed I could pick up in WY or KS and hit all 3 states

1. N2279H is based at Litchfield, IL (3LF)
2. 200 miles is good for me. If I needed to travel to another state Missouri would be the best direction (West).
3. I know of three other Ercoupes in IL (KGRE, KMVN, KSAR). Could be possible to hit these in order (very short flights in-between) if they are also interested. I can reach out to them.
4. I don't have any planned yet but many airports have a fly in breakfast mid to late summer.
5. Airports with landing fees. Shame on them.
