A pilot at our airport KTQH Tahlequah Oklahoma flew his 415C - 85 hp ercoupe from California to Tahlequah. He followed the road through the Albuquerque New Mexico pass that has an elevation about 5300 feet to cross the divide.

Remove the strips where the wings connect, 4 bolts each wing. One bolt for each aileron push tube. (No control cables) 2 lines (tubes) for the pitot and static ( mine in an Alon) and a couple of wires for the nav lights/landing lights.

Off in an hour and airworthy in a couple more (you’ll need cotter pins and hear shrink) + a logbook entry.

Easy peasy lemon squeeezy.  The wings detach outboard of the main landing gear, so the fuselage will retain a 3 wheels to roll-on/off a trailer.

Bag everything separately and mark everything (left/right top/bottom) to go back on exactly where it came off of.

Have you found a nice Ercoupe yet? If not, let me know may have what you need, acquaintance just completed a engine rebuild/upgrade and refurb but is now too old and having med issues.
