Ercoupes in the
Philippines

Refugio Airport, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. He and His
Uncle Isaias Menchaca who also owns another Ercoupe would fly around the
Hacienda and the city every afternoon for fun. Because they both love planes and
flying. At that time, they we're the only family who owns an Ercoupe in the
entire City. The airport in the farm is still theirs up to this day, and my
grandfather and grandmother still lives in their ancestral house inside the farm
...Photos were taken in the 1960's at their Sugarcane Plantation in San Carlos
