Update! Got the tank, tho not a brand spanking new one, it seems to be stainless, and it is tight! Now for a bit of paint, to match the rest of 87100, and installation. May redo the fuel filler / cap fitting; it is a bit low and quite tight.... But, an improvement! Thanks, Steve

Gordie - At last, I think we're on the way! Will not be leaving embarrassing dribbles, thank heavens!
Thanks, Steve

I'm looking for a replacement tank, left side, for the old style terneplate. Sn 273; would happily stand for a stainless tank, if anyone has been making them, or could do so. Otherwise, a repaired or old, healthy one. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve McNew 87100
